Objective: The objective of this investigation was to formulate and evaluate effervescent pellets febuxostat achieve sustain release effect.
 Place Duration Study: APMC College Pharmaceutical education research, Department Pharmaceutics, Himatnagar-383001, between June 2019 July 2021.
 Materials Methods: gastro retentive were formulated using Sodium CMC HPMC K4M HPMCK15M as a polymer. Pellets prepared by extrusion- spheronization technique microcrystalline cellulose spheronizing agent sodium bicarbonate citric acid gas forming for pellets. characterized with respect their floating lag time, total buoyancy time % cumulative drug release.
 Results Discussion: DSC study showed that there no change in the melting endotherm drug-polymers mixture which means polymers compatible each other. optimized formulation B14 exhibits 4.00±0.004 sec. at 12th hour 99.58±0.02. Scanning electron microscopy photomicrograph revealed surface rough spherical shaped nature.
 Conclusion: Febuxostat successfully evaluated former agents polymer K15.
